Recently a friend suggested a book that changed his life. It is called “As a man thinketh” a 107 year old classic by James Allen. It is so inspiring that sometimes I carry it with me on my daily walks and sit for a while in the wildflowers and read it.
Forgiveness is the economy of the heart... forgiveness saves the expense of anger, the cost of hatred, the waste of spirits. Remember, you don't forgive someone for his or her sake - you forgive them for your sake
To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you." - Louis B. Smedes
He who cannot forgive breaks the bridge over which he himself must pass." - George HerbertThe kindest and most compassionate thing you can do for yourself and others is forgive yourself
